I would like to think that Essex has two of the most interesting churches in England. One of these in Greensted near Ongar and the other is St Peter's on the Wall at Bradwell. The former has a wooden nave and is the only church in England that still has one. I hope that it can be seen in the photograph. The other is St Peter's on the Wall at Bradwell which dates back to Saxon and is believed to be the oldest church in Essex.
